Police discovered two dead men at a residential unit at condominium The Bayshore on Wednesday (Oct 1) after receiving a call for assistance at 11.32am.

The men are believed to be father and son, and aged 61 and 40, respectively.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were informed of the incident at 11.36am.

When they arrived at the scene, they had to force their way into the unit and found two bodies in the living room.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

A member of the public who called MediaCorp's hotline (68 22 22 68) said there were four police cars and an ambulance on the scene.

Channel NewsAsia understands there had been a foul smell emanating from the unit and the bodies are believed to have decomposed.

Police have classified the deaths as unnatural, and are investigating.
