The stars of Spanish side Atletico Madrid arrived in Singapore on the early morning of May 20, 2013, fresh from their Copa del Rey success.
The Los Rojiblancos won the tournament for the 10th time in their history after beating arch-rivals Real Madrid in a topsy turvy final on May 18.
They touched down at Changi Airport's Terminal 3 to a lavish welcome.
Diego Simeone's men are in Singapore as guests of billionaire philantropist Peter Lim to take on a Singapore Selection side in an exhibition match at the 7,500 capacity Jalan Besar Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Spanish ambassador to Singapore was present, as well as a troupe of lion dancers. Fans also had the opportunity to get up close to the Atletico players.
