Former national hockey player Annabel Pennefather will lead Singapore's delegation at this year's Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Myanmar.
On Wednesday, the Singapore National Olympic Council announced that she would be the Republic's Chef de Mission (CDM) to the biennial multi-sport event, which will be held from December 11 to 22.
It will be the fifth time that Pennefather, who is also a SNOC Vice-President and member of the steering committee for the 2015 SEA Games in Singapore, has been named as head of delegation, having also been Singapore's CDM at the 2002 and 2010 Commonwealth, 2004 Olympic and 2006 Asian Games.
This year's SEA Games, to be held mainly in the Myanmar capital of Naypyidaw, is expected to feature athletes from 11 Southeast Asian nations competing across 460 events in 33 sports.
