A taxi driver, said to weigh over 100 kg, was found dead in his cab after vomiting a bottle of blood. Six to seven police officers were required to remove his body.

The incident happened around 9pm on 25 July at the intersection between Upper Dickson Road and Upper Weld Road near Little India, reported Shin Min Daily.

The taxi driver is said to be a Chinese man in his fifties.

When a reporter from Shin Min Daily arrived at the scene, the area was already sealed off and there were close to 100 bystanders.

Near the cab, there was a bottle of blood, believed to have been thrown up by the driver before he died, reported the Chinese daily.

According to one of his relatives, the driver suffered from an illness, but always kept a low profile.

The police also found different medications inside the car.

They have listed the case as “unnatural death” and will be investigating.
