3 NCMP seats offered

After any GE, nine NCMP seats - minus the number of Opposition MPs elected - are offered to the best performing losers in the polls. With the WP having already won six seats in Parliament, only three NCMP seats are being offered.

According to a statement released yesterday, the seats are being offered to the Singapore People's Party (SPP) candidate for Potong Pasir, Mrs Lina Chiam; the Workers' Party (WP) candidate for Joo Chiat, Mr Yee Jenn Jong (pictured); and one member of the WP's East Coast GRC team.
