Second man charged with murder of computer technician

Reference: 20-year-old man arrested for Bras Basah death fall

A SECOND man was charged yesterday with the murder of a computer technician at Bras Basah Complex.

Full-time national serviceman Nur Iksan Abdul Wahid, 23, and two other men are said to have killed Syed Ali Abdullah Alhamid, 25, in the early hours of April 15.

A security guard called the police after finding Syed Ali lying unconscious near a staircase on the ground floor of the complex at Block 231, Bain Street. He was taken to Singapore General Hospital, where he died about two hours later.

Muhammad Arsyil Johar, 20, has also been charged with murder and will appear in court tomorrow.

The third suspect is still at large.
