A STREAM of ministers, MPs and grassroots members have been paying their last respects to the late Dr Balaji Sadasivan, whose wake is being held at Cheng San community club, an area in the Ang Mo Kio GRC, where he was a Member of Parliament. Dr Balaji's body is lying at the auditorium of the club, at Ang Mo Kio Street 53.
The Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs died early on Monday, after battling colon cancer for about two years. The wake will be held till Wednesday. The cortege will leave the community club for Mandai Crematorium at 2.45 pm on Thursday. MORE
