A lorry caught fire along Lornie Road, near Adam Road, on Friday morning (Sep 5).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the incident at 9.38am.
The SCDF responded to the incident and dispatched one Red Rhino and one fire engine. The fire was put out with two dry powder extinguishers and a hose reel.
Channel NewsAsia understands that while plumes of smoke were seen metres away from the incident, vehicles were allowed to ply on the left side of the road.
According to the SCDF, the fire was from the front seat of the lorry, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no casualties from the incident, the SCDF added.
