Tottenham are eyeing Holland winger Memphis Depay – the man hailed as the new Cristiano Ronaldo.

The PSV Eindhoven front man is being hailed as the next wonderboy to emerge from Dutch football and carries a £17million price tag.

As well as the White Hart Lane club, Manchester United-bound Holland boss Louis van Gaal has also become a big fan of the player.

In fact, he impressed him so much in the Dutch team that Van Gaal picks the 20-year-old ahead of established players like Jeremain Lens or Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Depay has a terrific right foot and can hit thundering free-kicks and shots from distance. It was his long-range shot that sealed Holland’s 3-2 win over Australia.
