Four people have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of 12-year-old Dutch national Nayati Shamelin Moodliar.
It is learnt that the four suspects were picked up in Perak and Kuala Lumpur by a special police task force set up to investigate the kidnapping, which took place on April 27.
Sources said the suspects, including a woman, were picked up by authorities on Tuesday morning, adding that part of the RM300,000 (S$122,000) ransom was also recovered.
Several others who are involved in the kidnapping are being sought.
