Chinese villagers loot a damaged truck and ignores injured drivers

Take advantage of others' misfortunes!

Chinese villagers rushed to loot a truck filled with household goods after it was involved in an accident in Chongqing.

A local news site reported that the villagers ignored the injured drivers and shouted "Take advantage of others' misfortunes!" while they were looting the trucks.




One of the truck drivers said he called the police, but only the traffic enforcement unit came.

No police arrived to stop and arrest the looters.

According to Reuters, Chinese leaders have been very cautious about the rising inflation rate, which has the historic potential to trigger social unrest in China.
