Prime Taxi will raise taxi fares from Friday, Jan 6, following in the footsteps of the other six companies.
The company, which has the smallest fleet, said that it had to raise fares as its drivers had complained they were losing out to other cabbies.
It will make similar changes to flagdown fares, raising it by 20 cents from $2.80 to $3.00, and extend the charging period for peak hour surcharges at night.
It will also extend the city surcharge to public holidays.
However, it will charge less for advance bookings, $6 compared to ComfortDelGro's $8.
