'Enfamil Premium Newborn' milk formula under investigation

A third infant tested positive for the bacteria Cronobacter that killed a newborn child in Missouri and spurred the removal last week of Enfamil baby formula from store shelves. An investigation is in progress in the United States.

The product, Enfamil Premium Newborn, is not sold in Singapore, the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) said last Friday. The Enfamil formula available here, Enfamil Enfalac Prosobee, is a different product which is safe for consumption.
