A GROUP of four ITE students developed a WASP - Wireless Anti-Snatch Protector.

The WASP is an anti-theft device that sounds an alarm when a bag holding it is stolen.

What started as a school project caught the attention of the Ministry of Home Affairs, which then helped to commercialise the product.
