Ex- Red Bull Racing driver David Coulthard performed driving stunts in front of 50,000 spectators along a 800m stretch of Orchard Road as part of a motorsports event called Red Bull Speed Street Singapore.

The Scotsman said he enjoyed performing on one of the world’s most glamorous shopping strip.

"The street was very smooth and suitable for the speed of the car. The turnout was impressive and I would definitely love to drive in Singapore again."

Coulthard raced down Orchard Road from ION Orchard and Marriot Singapore in a one-hour show. He performed sprints, burnouts, engine breaks and donuts.

Two other cars were also featured. An Audi R8 LMS was driven by Malaysian former F1 driver Alex Yoong while a Renault Megane RS was driven by professional French racing driver and stunt man Frederic Johais.

There were also four units of race simulators brought in by Singapore GP.

The excitement starts on the 0:48sec mark.
