Electricity tariffs are set to come down by an average of 1.6 per cent for the next three months, SP Services said on Tuesday (Sep 30).

For households, the tariff will decrease by 0.40 cent per kWh from 25.68 to 25.28 cents per kWh for Oct 1 to Dec 31.

This means that the average monthly electricity bill for families living in four-room HDB flats will decrease by S$1.69, SP Services said.
