Lorry catches fire on Lentor Avenue

A lorry caught fire on Lentor Avenue yesterday evening, bringing traffic to a crawl.

No one was hurt.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the incident occurred at around 7pm on Lentor Avenue in the direction of Ang Mo Kio.

The SCDF despatched a Red Rhino and a fire engine to put out the blaze.

The case is under investigation.
