Woman ran over husband with car over dispute

Seattle Police report a 34-year-old man was injured Saturday night when his wife hit him with their car following a spat at an office holiday party.

Police report the couple left the party after they got into an argument, but it didn't end there. The man and woman continued fighting in the parking lot in the Queen Anne neighborhood. Police say at some point, the man got out of the car, and the woman began driving it toward him.

"He sheltered behind a small tree at the edge of the parking lot. His wife drove over the tree, struck him with the car, and ran over him. She then sped off down the road," according to Seattle Police.

A trooper in the area saw the woman driving recklessly and pulled her over. Medics responded to the husband, who was transported to Harborview Medical Center with facial, wrist, and leg injuries.

Seattle police report the 24-year-old female was booked into King County Jail for felony domestic violence assault and may face additional charges.
