Seattle police are hitting the streets during the weekend cold snap to keep those without homes safe.

The Seattle Police Department's "Warm Weather Welcome Wagon" picks up cold and hungry people who are living on the streets and brings them to area shelters.

The patrols mostly focus on Downtown and along the Viaduct. Officers can call for a van to pickup anywhere in the city.
