Recently, the Traffic Police have been paying particular attention to speeding. They should also look at road hogging, especially on expressways.

During peak hours, it is not uncommon to find the expressway lanes occupied by slow-moving vehicles like construction trucks, buses, vans and pickups, causing unnecessary congestion.

While road hogging may not be as dangerous as speeding, it results in time being wasted for the motorists stuck in the increasingly frequent jams on our expressways.

The police should take strict enforcement action against slow-moving vehicles in the two right-most lanes of the expressways.
