The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) have decided to privatize the local leagues from 2015 and Kelantan FA Advisor Tan Sri Annuar Musa was among the first few to second that notion.

He said: "It is supposed to be done long before this even though we are a little too late, it is still a good decision by the FAM."

Currently Malaysian Leagues are graded 'D' which doesn’t allow any teams to compete in the highest continental cup, the Asian Champions League.

Tan Sri Annuar, who is currently serving a suspension from his duties as the FAM Vice-president and his roles in the Kelantan FA, strictly said that his comments are based on his view as a Member of Parliament who wants to see improvement in local football.

As a final word, Tan Sri Annuar Musa stated that he is confident that Harimau Malaya can go further on the international stage and the FAM did make a right first move for us the go there.

"I know that Malaysia can go beyond our current level. We were in the better position before and it is not impossible to improve."
