Middle Rangers FC dealt a blow to Police Sports Association's title hopes on match day 10 by recording an emphatic 4-0 win over the latter at 1st Toa Payoh Secondary School.

Besides leaving the ladies of Police four points adrift of the top, the result also allowed Young Women to strengthen their hold on second place after a routine victory over Petra FC.

Action at Meridian Junior College culminated in a slender 1-0 win for Jollilads Arsenal FC against Winchester FC, which was sufficient for Jollilads to pull level with Arion Football Academy ahead of the two teams' clash, while Warriors FC continued their quest for a mid-table place by beating Nanyang Polytechnic 4-2.

A draw between Jollilads and Arion on match day 11 would suit neither side's ambitions of breaking into the top three, with Police at risk of falling to their second consecutive loss to Young Women during their match-up. The stakes are also high for Petra, who face the prospect of dropping into the bottom two with a defeat against Warriors.
