The chance to savour street food from all over the world will arrive in the form of a 10-day food festival.

The inaugural World Street Food Congress features street food from the likes of Indonesian kaki limas, American food trucks, Chinese food inns, and Jolly Jeeps from the Philippines.

The event consists of a two-day conference and networking session, daily feasts put together by street food masters and an award ceremony to crown the best street food hawkers.

The World Street Food Congress aims to preserve the street food culture, professionalise the street food industry and explore new opportunities in this business.

The food festival will be held at the F1 Pit Building and Paddock from May 31 till June 9.

It is organised by food guide publisher Makansutra and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.
