Madam Halimah Yacob to be NCSS Advisor

Madam Halimah Yacob has accepted the invitation by Mr Hsieh Fu Hua, President of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), to be an Advisor to NCSS.

NCSS is the umbrella body for about 400 member voluntary welfare organisations in Singapore. It is the lead agency for developing the social service sector, responsible for strengthening the capabilities of social service organisations and promoting strategic partnerships for social services.

Madam Halimah is an ardent advocate for the less privileged segment of our population and a strong supporter of the social service sector. Her guidance and expertise will benefit the sector and strengthen social services.
