Low-cost, no frills carrier Scoot announced that it will begin flying to Taipei from Sept 18 with the possibility of continuing on to Tokyo.
The thrice-weekly Singapore-Taipei service will depart from Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 1.05am and arrives at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at 5.40am.
The return flight will depart at 6.10pm and arrive back in Singapore at 10.25pm.
Scoot said in a media statement that it will increase the frequency of the route to a daily service from Oct 29, subject to regulatory approval.
In addition, it also revealed that there is also a possibility for the route to be extended to Tokyo.
One-way Fly fares start from S$178 to Taipei and TW$3,298 to Singapore, inclusive of taxes.
