Ominous: Giving the impression that something bad or unpleasant is going to happen.
A 19-year-old part time model and college student Vivien Wong had tweeted something eerie using her Twitter account about 30 minutes before she and her male companion, businessman Leong Kian Sheong, 37, were killed on Thursday.
Wong, who used the tweet handle @VienDaryl tweeted "6 o clock alright .. Dead tomorrow u" at 5.38am on Thursday.
The tweet, however, only received a response the next day when two of her friends noticed it. By that time, Wong had been found dead.
Wong and Leong were believed to have been murdered between 6am and 6.30am in a cold-blooded attack on Thursday by more than two people at a double-storey house in the gated community of Taman Segar Perdana here.
Kajang police said they were looking into the tweets and would check if it could help them in their investigation.
Sources said police had recorded statements from Leong's bodyguard and driver and were in the midst of recording statements from friends of Leong and Wong.
Leong and Wong were found with multiple slash and stab wounds on the upper part of their bodies at 10pm, 16 hours after they were killed.
The bodies were found by Leong's friend, who went to the house after he failed to contact the deceased. Several valuables and Leong's two luxury vehicles, a BMW and a Toyota Vellfire, were also missing.
Police said they retrieved several sets of fingerprints and a chopper, which was believed to have been used in the murder, from the scene.
Wong's mother believed that Wong was at the wrong place at the wrong time, which resulted in her death.
