Planes bump into each other at Shanghai airport

Two planes bumped into each other at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on Thursday, Xinhua new agency report.

A Malaysia Airlines flight, MH389, hit the left elevator of a China Eastern Airlines flight, MU583, that was waiting to take off.

While no one was injured, the China Eastern Airlines plane had to return to the terminal for inspection.

Another plane had to be deployed to cover the route.

Airport authorities are investigating the accident.
