NDP 2012 will be telecast "live" across MediaCorp's multiple platforms

Singapore's 47th birthday on 9 August will be telecast "live" across MediaCorp's multiple platforms - from TV, radio, out-of-home to online.

Viewers in Singapore can watch the National Day Parade's (NDP's) proceedings on Channel 5 and in high definition on HD5 from 5.20pm to 8.10pm.

They can can also catch the action on Channel 8, Channel U, okto, Suria, and Vasantham from 5.50pm to 8.10pm.

Viewers in Asia can see the NDP "live" on Channel NewsAsia International (CNAI) from 5.50pm to 8.10pm Singapore/Hong Kong time.

MediaCorp's radio stations will cover the parade "live" over 938LIVE, Capital 95.8FM, Warna 94.2FM and Oli 96.8FM from 6.00pm to 8.00pm in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil respectively.

Those on the move can also view the parade "live" on outdoor digital screens managed by MediaCorp -- at ION Orchard, Orchard Central, *Scape, Bugis Village and JCube -- from 5.20pm to 8.10pm.

The "live" parade will also be beamed on 55-inch LED TV screens at 17 bus-stop locations around town.
