FC Twente's Luuk de Jong has been in impressive form this season, scoring 25 goals in 33 games. However, the team have performed below expectations, finishing sixth in the Dutch Eredivisie. This position means the club will not be taking part in the Champions League next year, a competition De Jong is keen to play in.

As such, it is believed the player has instructed his agent to seek out clubs who will be taking part in Europe's premier competition.

Borussia Dortmund is one such team, after successfully retaining their Bundesliga title this season. Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is seeking to bring in another forward after the departure of Lucas Barrios.

However, de Jong's exciting performances for club and country has also led to a host of sides keeping a close watch on his movements, including fellow Bundesliga teams such as Bayern Munich, Schalke 04, Borussia Monchengladbach, and English clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool.
