Boyfriend charged with woman's murder in Jurong West

Barely three months after moving out from her family's flat, Ms Elsie Lie Lek Chee was found dead in a room in Jurong West that she apparently shared with her boyfriend.

On Sunday, the man, Gabriel Lee Haw Ling, 37, was charged with her murder.

At the Singapore General Hospital mortuary on Sunday, Ms Lie's parents said they had not known their 24-year-old daughter was in a relationship.
