Woman charged for car crash and assault involving husband

On Oct 3, 2010, Ms Xiao Shi Ying, 34, had allegedly crashed into her husband's, Mr Wong Hsien Loong's, car at the junction of Commonwealth Avenue West and Vista Exchange Green.

After the accident, she scratched Mr Wong's face and body. He also fractured his finger from the accident.

Ms Xiao started her attack after seeing Ms Goh in her husband's car. Ms Goh is understood to be working under Mr Wong.

The other person Ms Xiao is said to have assaulted in Ms Stella Goh Hui Ling, who was hit in the lower body.

Two people in another two vehicles suffered neck muscle strain.

For her offence, Ms Xiao faces five charges: one of causing grievous hurt, two of causing hurt, and two of voluntarily causing hurt.

Her case is due for mention on Feb 28.
