The blockbuster film "Marvel's The Avengers", scheduled for a May 1 release, ties together a number of hit superhero film franchises like "Iron Man", "Captain America" and "Thor", but very little information regarding the film has been released.
However, fans from around the world will get the chance to ask "Marvel's The Avengers" writer/director Josh Whedon himself, along with cast members Tom Hiddleston (who plays Thor's nemesis Loki) and Clark Gregg (who plays S.H.I.E.L.D agent Phil Coulson) about the film, during Marvel Studios' upcoming Global Twitter Chat session with them.
Those who participate in the 30-minute live tweeting event, which happens at 3am (SGT) Wednesday, using the @Avengers handle and the #Avengers hashtag, will get to see a ten-second teaser of the 30-second television spot that will be shown during the US Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday as well.
"Marvel's The Avengers" sees comic book heroes like Iron Man, Hawkeye, Thor, Captain America and The Incredible Hulk come together to defeat the evil Loki and his allies.
The film, which stars Robert DowneyJr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston, with Stellan SkarsgÄrd and Samuel L. Jackson, is based on the popular Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," first published in 1963.
