10 Arrested In Island-Wide Anti Drink-Driving Operation

A 4-hour island-wide operation on 20 Jan 2012 by the Traffic Police saw the breathalyser test administered to 63 motorists with 10 of them being arrested after failing the test.

The highest breathalyser result clocked was 83 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - more than 2 times the prescribed legal limit of 35 microgrammes.

If you are going out for drinks, play your part by being a responsible motorist. Leave your car at home and take public transport instead.
