"No conclusive evidence of any wrongdoing was uncovered," the spokesperson added.
The spokesperson was responding to queries after the media had been tipped off by sources claiming that the coach had allegedly been in a relationship with the athlete.
In its statement, the Sports School stressed that it "has a strict policy against inappropriate behaviour - whether it involves a staff, coach or a student-athlete".
The spokesperson said: "When parents entrust the care of their children to our school, we have to ensure that our school remains a safe place. This applies whether they are student-athletes at our school or other students training in our school's sports complex."
The spokesperson added: "When a staff or a coach signs his acceptance letter to join our School, he is fully aware that he will be taken to task for any impropriety or misconduct. Annually, all our coaches also have to sign a Code of Conduct that commits them to upholding the principles and values of our school."
"Our student-athletes come here for a purpose - to train to become the best athletes that they can be. We want them to remain focused in their goals. Our school has several platforms where we educate them about inappropriate behaviour and relationships. This is a message that we regularly reinforce. There are also avenues for them to seek advice and counsel."
