The Singapore Disability Sports Council launched a commemorative book on Saturday to help raise funds for its athletes.
Titled Dreams, the Living and the Pursuit, the coffee table book features the stories of 11 disabled athletes, including swimmer Yip Pin Xiu, Singapore's first gold medalist at the Paralympic Games, and equestrian rider Laurentia Tan, the first Singaporean to win a Paralympic medal.
Both achieved their historic feats at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing.ORIGINAL SOURCE
