The incident happened on June 27 at around 10pm on board a plane which had arrived in Singapore from Hong Kong.

A 22-year-old stewardess, a Singapore permanent resident originally from the Philippines, was assaulted by a woman from China over a piece of luggage and has suffered pains to her face and bruises to her arms which went away only after two weeks.

The accused, 43-year-old Li Dan, is a self-employed person working in Singapore.
