Toa Payoh Lor 8 market, food centre to reopen

The newly refurbished market and food centre at Blk 210 Toa Payoh Lorong 8 will re-open for business on Saturday after undergoing an 11-month facelift.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) said business will resume progressively as more stalls complete their renovation works.

The single-storey centre will feature 80 cooked food stalls, 44 market stalls and 33 lock-up stalls after upgrading.

The refurbished market and food centre also boasts better ventilation and more seats.

The layout of the centre was reconfigured during the upgrading to create more walking space and bigger stalls.
