In the first operation, CNB officers arrested a 58-year-old suspected drug trafficker in the Tanjong Katong area, at about 11.45am.

They found about 475 grammes of heroin and drug paraphernalia in his van.

CNB officers later searched his home and recovered nine Erimin-5 tablets and more drug paraphernalia.

Another suspected drug trafficker, a 54-year old man, was also arrested nearby after being spotted earlier in the van.

He had about S$6,000 in a plastic bag.

In the second operation, CNB officers arrested a 52-year-old suspected drug trafficker in Queenstown.

About 790 grammes of heroin and 17 grammes of Ice were found in his flat in the area.

His suspected drug accomplice, a 50-year-old man and another drug offender were also arrested at the same block.
