Wong Yong Kheong, a construction manager, applied for a self-exclusion order in October last year but on Dec 31, he began using his wife's IC to get into the Bayfront Avenue casino without lawful authority.
He was caught by a security officer who found that the identity card was not his as he was leaving on Feb 12.
Wong was fined $5,000 on each of two charges on Wednesday of using the identity card of his wife, Madam Wong Ban Siew, 39, to get into MBS casino on Feb 8 and 12.
He could have been fined up to $10,000 and/or jailed for up to 10 years on each of the two charges.
