Facebook Music?

Facebook users are waiting in anticipation of Facebook Music.

As much as everyone knows there will be a Facebook Music, no one knows how it will work since the company will be tweaking things up until its launch.

According to a post on techcrunch, Facebook creative director Ji Lee sent out a tweet that said: "The "Listen with your friend" feature in ticker is blowing my mind. Listen to what your friends are listening. LIVE."

The site added the tweet was deleted within minutes but not before Mitchell Holder, a former Insight Associate at Sony Music Entertainment, grabbed a screenshot.

According to techcrunch, Mr Lee is describing a key feature that will be launched at f8. Not only will all music that you're listening to be displayed on the right-side ticker, there will be a link to "Listen with your friend" that will allow friends to listen to the same music at the same time when clicked.

This is made possible with the scrobbling and track matching technology.

Mr Lee also left a Facebook status post that said: "Ji Lee is listening to Black & Blue by Mike Snow and feeling happy it's another beautiful sunny day in California" - another feature of Facebook music.

Facebook, though clearly king of social networks, is also competing with Twitter and Google Plus for attention.
