A taxi driver had to walk nearly a kilometre in the nude after being robbed of his taxi and clothes. According to a report in Harian Metro, the 31-year-old driver was robbed by a passenger he picked up in Wangsa Maju.
The suspect, a man in his late 20s, asked to be sent to Setapak.
According to Sentul District Deputy Police Chief Supt Zainuddin Ahmad, upon arriving at Setapak, the passenger pulled a knife out and held it at the taxi driver's throat.
"Fearing for his safety, the victim handed over all his cash," said Zainuddin, adding that the suspect then ordered the victim to strip and put his clothes in the taxi.
"At first the victim refused, but the suspect threatened to stab him if he did not comply."
The victim managed to walk to the Setapak police station to get help.
