KELANTAN, MALAYSIA - Police have launched a manhunt for a 34-year-old Indonesian woman who ran away from her employers home with RM450,000 (S$188, 280) worth of valuables.
The Indonesian maid - known as Neglis - was missing when her employer, Foo Kiat Chai, returned home on Jan 28.
Malaysia's national news agency Bernama reported that Mr. Foo became suspicious when he realised his valuables, collectibles and heirlooms stored in a room were missing.
Kelantan deputy police chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Mazlan Lazim said the suspect holds a passport with the number AP 168246.
