A WOMAN who agreed to take the rap for a friend's speeding offence was sentenced to four weeks' jail on Friday.
Lim Ah Hwa, 39, is appealing against the sentence. Bail of $10,000 was offered.
The divorcee and single mother of three admitted to intentionally perverting the course of justice by assuming criminal liability for the offence committed by sales executive Charlie Lim Chau Lee, 51, on Aug 18, 2008.
Charlie and his friend, Benny Sng Kwee Hock, 54, were dealt with last month. They were given six months and six weeks' jail respectively. MORE
