63 Nabbed In BIGGEST Island-Wide Loansharking Blitz This Year

In the BIGGEST island-wide operation against loansharks this year, Police arrested 51 men and 12 women, aged between 16 and 64 years old, following a 14-hour operation yesterday.

The operation, which commenced on 27 September 2010 at about 8.00am, saw officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division conducting simultaneous raids at various locations in Bukit Merah, Clementi, Woodlands, Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Punggol, Sengkang, Bedok and Tampines. MORE
