13 people injured in accident along Upper Serangoon Rd

Thirteen people were sent to hospital following an accident along Upper Serangoon Road on Monday night (Dec 8), said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

Channel NewsAsia understands the accident involved a taxi and a bus and that all the injured people were sent to the hospital conscious.

One person was sent to the KK Women's and Children's Hospital, four were sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital while eight were sent to Changi General Hospital.

SCDF said that it was alerted to the incident at 7.30pm and dispatched a fire engine and four ambulances to the scene. It added that when its officers arrived at the scene, no one was trapped in the incident.
