Taxi crashes into bus stop near Dunearn Road

A taxi collided into a bus stop near Dunearn Road outside National Junior College on Thursday morning (Nov 20).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at 37 Hillcrest Road at 6.42am. 

The taxi driver was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital by ambulance, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.

No one else was injured in the accident, and there were no pedestrians at the bus stop at the time, SCDF said.

A viewer who called Channel NewsAsia about the accident said the collision caused a massive jam in the area.
