Police nab suspected snatch thief in Woodlands Drive 60

Police on Sunday (Oct 19) arrested a 21-year-old man suspected of having committed snatch theft in Woodlands housing estate.

The suspect, who was arrested around Woodlands Drive 60 at about 1am, was apprehended after months of investigations, following police reports made between mid-May (2014) and mid-October.

Police said the victims, who had their mobile phones snatched from them, gave similar descriptions of the suspect. He will be charged in court on Monday with using criminal force to commit theft.
