National Stadium and Jalan Besar to share AFF Suzuki Cup duties

The ASEAN Football Federation has said that the Suzuki Cup will be held at the National Stadium, as well as at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

The National Stadium, which has a capacity of 55,000, will hold Singapore's matches against Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar. 

The rest of the group's matches will be held at Jalan Besar, which can hold 8,000 people.

Singapore is co-hosting the tournament - which runs from Nov 23 to 29 - with Vietnam.

The poor state of the National Stadium pitch has drawn plenty of flak recently.
