EZ-Link to discontinue Season Passes from the start of 2015

Season Passes can only be used until the end of the year, EZ-Link Pte Ltd announced on Wednesday (Oct 29).

The company said that existing Season Pass holders can continue to purchase monthly passes until Dec 1, and weekly passes until Dec 25.

From Jan 1 next year, Season Pass holders can continue to use their passes as a normal ez-link card, EZ-Link said.

If pass holders do not wish to use the Season Pass as a normal ez-link card, they can surrender the card and obtain a refund of the balance value from any TransitLink Ticket Office, it added.

Any unused period on monthly or weekly passes will not be refunded. The card and personalisation fee will also not be refunded.

EZ-Link will continue to accept new Season Pass applications until Oct 31, though it advised against new applications given that the scheme will soon be discontinued.
