Dozens sent to hospital after SBS buses collide

Two SBS Transit buses collided at Sims Avenue yesterday evening, resulting in 23 people being sent to hospital.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call about the accident, which occurred at the junction of Sims Avenue and Sims Way. 

One of the two buses — one single-deck and the other double-deck — had rear-ended the other at the slip road turning into Sims Avenue.

The SCDF said 23 people were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and that there were no fatalities.
